I've just bought the game from the Steam sales and tried to launch the program and this happens...
The main window pops up like this:
And then the Windows notification sound keeps playing/looping. (the sound you get when you insert a usb)
Can't get into the program or do anything with it. Just stuck there.
In the task manager, the application is still responding if that's of any help.
I've attached the 3 logs found in the logs folder in the Documents.
Any help will be much appreciated. :)

Have either of you tried restarting your computer?
@Kyaw
You are getting this error in the Engine Log:
RESOURCE MANAGER : Reset failed ! DX Error : -2005530516
And this in Sandbox Log:
Creating Glow RenderSurface Failed
This is some problem with creating a texture on the video card. Make sure your video drivers are up to date as well.
Let me know if either of you are still having the problem.

My GPU is a GTX480.
I've got the latest drivers and i still have the problem, i've installed the latest beta drivers and still having the same problems.
-
Your post is unclear.
Did you try restarting?
Does it work with the latest non-beta drivers?
-
I've restarted several times. It doesn't work with the non-beta drivers.
-
Any more support?
I'm still having the same problem. I really want to get this working.

I separated the other posts from this thread since they are a different problem altogether.
Here's the post from someone else that had a similar problem:
i had installed the iz3d anaglyph 3d driver for laughs a while ago. it's set up to activate on a hotkey, so i figured it wouldn't get in the way of anything. apparently not the case, as adding universe sandbox to the exceptions list in its control panel fixed my issue completely.
What software are you running in the background? Perhaps it's something that's causing the DirectX error.
It might also be useful to do this:
Would you be able to post your dxdiag dump? All you have to do is go to Run then type in dxdiag, once it is done you can then save the file as a txt and paste it up here.

Well, i just fixed it.
The culprit was the D3Doverrider software that forces triple buffering...
I've disabled that and it now works like a charm. :D
Thanks for the help Dan!

Great. I've added this to the list of things to try on Startup crashes.
