The simulation called "Gamma Ray Bursts" that is included with Universe Sandbox is only showing the location of where these bursts occurred.

I suspect you're asking how to make something explode with the power of one millions suns...
You can right click on any object and select "Explode" but I imagine this is not what you mean.

I don't think that's what he means as a GRB is a star that goes hypernova and then emits a gamma ray beam in two directions from it's newly formed black hole.

There's currently no gamma ray burst feature in Universe Sandbox. (Although it should have one.)
