Title: Steam version not detecting Steam

When I start up my bought Steam version of Universe Sandbox it refuses to start because of it not detecting Steam. Any ideas?

Have you tried restarting Steam?

Several times. And my computer a few times. I tried running a few of the solutions in other topics with no luck.

I'm sorry it's not working for you.

Can you find the 3 log files that are here:
(My) Documents\Universe Sandbox\Logs
... and send them to me in an email with a link to this post (so I know what they're about):

That may help identify the problem so I can fix it in an upcoming build.

And are you sure Steam is up to date? I've seen this happen if the steam client is older.

I'll try to update my Steam, and if that doesn't work, I'll fire you off an email, boss. Thanks for the reply!

Are you still having this problem?

I'm going to need to add better log reporting to track down the cause of this problem.

Please let me know and I'll add something into the next release.

From an email the user sent me this problem has miraculously fixed itself. :)

If anyone else has this problem please let me know.
