Title: Converting IRC Activity to Forum Activity

This is an admirable goal and something that should be done so that people browsing USF aren't so confused and can feel more easily like part of the community, as I have noticed that simply looking at the forum activity doesn't make much sense unless you have the context of the IRC. How should we go about doing this?

Idk it may be kinda hard to do, since most of the activity on irc is really just chat. I don't think it's a matter of converting activity, it's really just being more active on the forum itself. (yeah i know wow that solved nothing) That's my only idea.

that's a terrible idea
unless what you want to replace it with is like what escforum has, a thread with thousands of pages that lags the forum and functions as a chatroom...
which is basically the same thing as irc but really inefficient
