I'm on infinity evolved and it says 2.2.2 and I'm whitelisted but it won't let me join because somehow my infinity version is incompatible with the servers cuz it has different mods or different versions of mods

I'm considering switching to the Direwolf pack, I think it has less things than Infinity, but shares a few mods as well. This is because some people were freezing while trying to load Infinity. It'll probably be a bit lighter on the server as well.

Well it looks like i have fallen into a singularity of the fact that i chose the wrong mod path.

The nice thing about the FTB mod packs is they have such a huge variety of different mods and features, so why not just try another path? Also everyone don't need to choose the same paths, if people specialize in different ones they might be of more help to each other. Maybe I can let you use some materials from my quarry or craft IC2 armor for you, and you can make something from your mod path for me, for example.
