The water was almost freezing this morning. Doesn't help when it's 40 degrees outside ;_;
Apparently my dad may get a sum of money (maybe) so he can definitely get a new heater for the water. Though I doubt it will be anytime soon. But we'll see I guess.

It is early morning, 5 am.
I have awoken from a lousy night's worth of sleep, already dreading for the day to start. As the sounds of the obnoxious alarm fill my ears, I pull myself out of bed, feeling utterly dead. My eyes feel cold and crusty; my mouth is the same moisture as old, cracked leather; my body, sore from yesterday's basketball event, is as stiff as the hardest, firmest metal on this Earth. But, I must attend school and my parents would be irate otherwise.
I leave my room and slowly approach the bathroom, where I already feel like this is a bad idea. But nonetheless, education is more important than anything else, and I can't deprive myself of it just because of "a bad nights' sleep." At the same time, I feel worthless and empty, just wanting to go back to sleep for eternity so I can finally arise from dream like a brand new person. Nonetheless, I enter the bathroom. I flip the light switch on. The bright bathroom light blinds me temporarily, but my eyes feel burnt out afterwards.
I don't even want to think about it; just the thought brings chills to the warmest of areas. I head over to the deathtrap that is the bathtub, containing the shower head behind the curtains. I stand there for 30 seconds... 60 seconds..... 90 seconds, not wanting to turn on the shower. "Here we go," I mutter. I slide the curtains to one side, then bend over to turn on the shower water. I quickly step back. I can literally feel the chill of the water radiate from the shower onto my skin. "The Shower Water is too Cold," I say. "It is still too Cold."
I take off my clothes, one by one, until fully naked. Goose bumps are already emerging from my skin like some sickly disease has struck me. I guess that "disease" is the frigid, ice cold water that I am about to clean myself in. I briefly ponder about any methods to deal with the water better. "Maybe I have to be really warm so that the shower water in turn can be warmer, via transfer of heat." "Nah, maybe I have to be really cold initially so that the shower water doesn't feel as cold." "Shoot, both are great ideas, which one do I do?"
By now some time has passed, so I check my phone for the time. "5:36 am" it reads. "Holy shit," I say, "I have to hurry up." I mentally prepare myself for the challenge ahead, like this is some chess tournament, and my opponent is a master player who has crushed the smartest of foes, though obviously I'm not an astute chess player myself. "And I guess I'm not an astute shower p-...person?" I awkwardly say in my mind. (Yeah, I do talk to myself a lot, I can't help it) I place my right hand out to feel the temperature of the water. It's ice cold, as previously expected. I am dreading even more now, and I become more frustrated the more I wait to enter. Finally, I push the shower curtain the other way, and place a foot in the opposite side of the tub. I'm ready...
And yadayada I get out the shower and get ready for school and then the day ends I come back home and I'm like "school wasn't so bad ayyyyy" UNTIL next time...

my shower water gets progressively colder the longer you're in there so you have to constantly adjust the thing until you can't turn it anymore so then you're out of luck and it's time to get out
