like a more detailed clock about the planets rotation period...why haven't any of us thought of this before?! nice idea.

Have you ever seen polar days?? It is an amazing fenomena, how can that be not worth it??

If this was done I'd imagine it would be simplified to not take into account light refraction, thick atmospheres can bend alot of light over the horizon. I have no idea how that would be calculated, but I think it's based on the planetary tilt. A tidally locked planet would probably just have N/A as the duration because it would be a polar night forever at the antistellar pole.

I think this will be fairly easy to implement. All the required inputs are there.

Currently there is a lack of more detailed planetary data output, like how hot the Sun facing side of a tidally locked planet would be, or at what latitudes we can expect to see polar days if the Earth had 36° tilt instead of 23.........
