First off, you aren't supposed to follow what songs say.
Second, they're fun songs. Not songs you base your life off of
Third, what gives you the right to tell people they're having fun wrong?
Why do you hate the modernization of youth so much? You have never said one positive thing about "this generation" and are one of those le wrong generation people.

Back in my day writing a song was based off enjoyability and not cramming a bunch of cusses that rhyme in a 2:00 minute music video.
