That would be a nice anthem if it were longer.

how do you make these

I pay a few bands and orchestra to play this for me. :P

That would be a nice anthem if it were longer.

Yeah I plan to extend it, but I wasn't sure how to continue it so I left it for now until further notice.

For anyone curious: The first few parts of the song I posted above. A Viola and Cello section exists, but they couldn't fit into the picture.

Assuming I even bother giving it to my director, I am writing a concert band piece of Dearly Beloved. Subject to change.

There's usually more instruments in a concert band setting, but my band doesn't have a lot of instruments, unfortunately. This was written for what we have currently.

do you want to be a composer when you grow up?

It'd probably be a hobby alongside whatever I'll be doing in the future.

It's for concert band (specifically just mines), so it won't have string instruments.

Flute, piano, and trumpet.

Trumpet with piano is entirely possible, thankfully. :P

You don't necessarily need to have two hands to play the trumpet. Just one is enough -- carrying it with your pinkie and thumb, and using the rest of your fingers for the fingerings. You need a strong arm tho, I'd say.

Conversion to another soundfont as a test. Much more realistic, although it does have its limitations, such as having no piano. Will be looking further into it.

Unravel - the first OP from Tokyo Ghoul (https://soundcloud.com/destatia/unravel-tokyo-ghoul-06). Something I had been working on for the past few weeks. It pretty much features a full-on orchestra.

The second OP from Akatsuki no Yona (https://soundcloud.com/destatia/akatsuki-no-yona-op-2-ver03). Features mainly strings and winds; doesn't have much percussion at the moment.

A composition of a fictional character for a friend (https://soundcloud.com/destatia/veneos-theme-ctg). A dark-light theme.

A concert band arrangement (https://soundcloud.com/destatia/rwby-this-will-be-the-day-preview-01) of the first volume opening of RWBY, an animated series. 10/10 would recommend.

the anthem of the tuto in the works

0.1 was figuring out the basic chord structure of the midi file
0.2 adds a string intro, might be revised to include the melodic material of the actual song. also added a proper bass voice in the chords instead of high everything to help solidify things (which is temporary)
