I was playing a new game of Fallout 3 GOTY edition. When in a metro tunnel, I was going to go up to the surface again, but in the loading screen the game stopped working.
I had turned off the "Save on Travel" and "Save on Wait" options because I thought that would lead to frame instability, long loading times, and way too many saves.
Now I see that disabling these options have caused me to lose an hour of progress.
I suck.
