I was using Photoshop last night and I made a few different logos. I think they turned out pretty good, in my opinion. What do you guys think? I've attached by top 3, plus one with text. :)
UPDATE: I removed the original logos and added the updated ones.

I think you should put an 2 in the background of Saturn.
Also they look awful! just kidding. 1st April ;D i liked the last one

hmmm, looks kinda similar to original logo. also no gradient letters it has to be able to seen in black and white and as many backgrounds as possible. nice

Alright. I took out the gradient and placed it on a black background and white background to show its visibility.

Cool. That blue is too bright, in my opinion. Make it darker and add some shadows just like in the logo at the top of the page

Actually, it's acceptable if the logo doesn't look completely different.

US2 Logo 20 looks the best to me, but perhaps a darker blue and shaded rings with stars in the background.

Yes, the last one was the best. Gabriel said the 2 is very cliché, and he is right. It looks awful with a 2,IMO

Yes, I agree. But it was worth the consideration. I prefer it without the 2 as well.

But it needs work. Maybe some shadow on the rings? And a Cassini division? And maybe not a star glow, just a four pointed sharp star, like thos lensflare kinds.

I think the text looks like the signs on those ugly little rinky-dink shops on the side of the road where I live. No offence intended whatsoever :) :) :) :) :)

No no, it's fine. I like getting peoples opinions and creating what they envision. Also, I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS6.

Oh, cool. Never heard of it, though. I used Alien Sky to make my avatar. You can save it if you want. It has higher quality than I thought.

kids these days are too obsessed with stuff like Call of Duty, Super Mario, etc. to know about this awesome gravity toy. I mean, look at it! It's not even released and it looks amazing!

Very old thread, but just wanted everyone to know that it doesn't matter what US2 looks like on your desktop/dock, you can easily change it to whatever image you want.
