I have gotten 10 wins since I posted the above stats 4 days ago, not bad :)
Anyways I had another one of those uber op games. Found and killed a rogue (albeit barely) and managed to dominate everything with a useable diamond sword with sharpness one.

Not to mention I got over half the kills, killing 9/15 of the possible players on Aelin's Tower. Didn't manage to get a bow though (didn't notice I didn't have one until after the game) :P

Was too tired to think of taking a screenshot of the game at the time, but 50 wins! My 50th win was the best yet, got a combined rogue diamond sword with sharpness one and knockback one on it on the new Egypt map.

Ah teams...
Essentially, there were 4 of us left on an Aelin's Tower game. A really, really over powered VIP who was incredibly scary. He must've gotten into a fight with a team of 2 at some point and was being chased in the watery half of Aelin's Tower and I was watching them, not sure if there was a team or if 3 people were chasing each other, or what. Then the really OP guy (PaperGoomba) dies to the team and they go to the shore of one of the pillars on the map. The shore they went to in this case was one block on the side of a pillar. They were standing there sorting through the items, not looking at all near me.... a really really sweet ambush ensued :D Team died within seconds and they had so little time to react that I don't think i ever got hit.

Can't focus on one when they are both standing in the same spot. Was able to get enough of a surprise that one of them died without even noticing and the other was able to move a few blocks.

Using statistics I posted on the hypixel forum a while back (http://hypixel.net/threads/blitz-survival-games-progressive-balancing-important-read.71825/page-100#post-1061544) which was a sample of 70 games over the course of 10 or so hours. I won 18 of 70 games, or a decent 25.7% chance of me winning every game.
Maps on BSG come in 12-24 player sizes, I never play Caelum (only 12 player map) and I prefer the fast paced 16 player maps, so I can reasonably assume the average map I play on is roughly 18 players. Using pure statistics, an average person would have a 1/18 chance of winning, 5.5%.
Comparing that, 25.7% is a lot higher than 5.5%...does this make me roughly 4.7 times better than average? If so I could never imagine being average :o , I feel like I suck even at the presumed 4.7 times better statistic.

Interesting. Didn't capture it on recording ofc but I managed to kill a person with fists, find the Blitz Star, killed a team of two with one heart, and managed to kill a horsetamer + his horse, all in one game. It was a nice game.

Using statistics from our collective BSG stats spreadsheet:
Atomic has averaged 12 kills per day in the past month, I don't think I can compete with that! :( I average 84 kills per day in the same timeframe, which using my kills to win ratio (ever since I hit 2000 kills) is 11 wins per day.

I was in a game with mostly regulars, by the point where I felt attached enough to start checking for hackers there were about 12 people remaining and three donors including me. One of them was a relatively elite player, this guy (http://www.hypixel.net/members/who_is_steven.104639/), and the other is someone I've never heard of. Who_is_steven gets killed by etzio so I get suspicious.. then the other donor dies to him, then the last person until it's just us two.
At this point I had a huge black flag about him being a hacker so I decided to call him out on it. I watch him for the few seconds, he tries to shoot me and then goes into his inventory/tries to type something for a couple seconds or so. He says nothing and I keep watching him... I've fought enough hackers to know that usually this means they are turning the hacks on or off, in this case I thought it was getting turned on, hence the "hehe you are", but they were actually getting turned off.
The countdown for the "Kill! Kill! Kill!" never showed up for me but I have enough experience with this that I was still able to perfectly time drinking my speed 3 potion. Fighting begins and...he tries to hit me maybe 3 times and then just blocks with his sword, not even trying to fight me back.
Suck it hackers ;D

Just for them to turn into a hacker? Sorta, it doesn't happen to me too often anymore, I have been pretty good at predicting hackers based off of chat logs. I never suspect donors though, so I have been surprised by donor hackers before.

Most milestones are getting boring, so here have 6969.
As far as the game itself goes, and pvp in general, I have gotten so much practice I win a good amount of them even if I don't try. If I go for wins, I can easily get to 80% won. PvP is really about practice and at least I'm getting good stats in this damn game in exchange for the hundreds of hours I put in....still, I've become an elite player and winning basically everything does get to your head a bit.

I'm at the point now where I usually only lose 1v1s where I have worse gear or less health. Most of my 1v1 deaths come from the mistake of trying to just tank a horse 9 when I have worse gear and I should've engaged them differently, that kind of thing. Skill-wise if there is equal enough gear I've killed most of the pros in the past. A surprising number of people with high kills/wins are actually really bad at PvP and just play a lot or their kits don't allow for true skill. Kits like wolftamer and snowman will never teach you to be great at pvp because you won't learn to outsrafe opponents as you'll never have to, kinda thing. If played noobly, horsetamer, rogue and toxi will never teach you anything.
List of people who have truly out performed me is pretty low now..I've been wrecked by few, KobiWarrior, TouchToDisplay and NielsdVH are about it lately. Fun fact: all 3 were playing knight 8
Pretty sure my attitude is a big factor in my performance though. TMC calls me bipolar, but if I wasn't harsh on myself for dying, I'd never learn to kill horsetamers easily and would still be moaning about them today (though I realize its annoying because I'm so much more successful than you guys in fights...). But yes wolftamers are my worst enemy, and someday, I will learn a strategy that is as effective as my horsetamer one against them! If I'm not going to try and improve as a player then I shouldn't be playing at all!

While not important anymore as horsetamers have been nerfed and there are very few of them left, if you hit the horse, it stops moving. Hitting the horse repeatedly will make it easily outstrafable. With a bit of practice, you'll be able to incorporate critical hits on the person riding the horse as well, which is how I deal with horsetamers that don't get off their horse. It's one of the biggest reasons I get called a hacker, I don't look at the person riding the horse but still wreck them, so from their perspective I'm obviously hacking.

I almost completely missed the greatest milestone of them all, 11 111 kills. :o Not sure why i wasn't paying attention.
It was me and two friends in DM so we played last block, the entire time, no matter how many chat messages I must've sent, I didn't notice that I had 11111 kills. I joined the next game and was bored of waiting so I randomly went up, for no reason really. It hit me then what an epic milestone I hit.

The whole idea of spending 350 000 coins on the strategy of camping the middle and enchanting a stone sword didn't really appeal to me against getting a better level 9 (probably snowman).

Just mildly addicted to it at this point. Not to the point where my life is ruined because of the game, not even close. :P Pretty close to getting to the elite level in Blitz though. Most elite guilds start accepting new members at 4000 kills and 350 wins.

With the non-stop grinding of the summer time, elite has moved up waay past 4 000 kills. 4 000 kill players were somewhat rare back in May, now 10 000 kill players are about as common. Back then, 2 270 wins would've gotten me in the top 20 of players easily, now I'm barely top 50. Getting a level 8 kit was somewhat impressive, getting a level 10 was legendary. Now, there is even a person with worse stats than me that has two level 10s.
NeoPixels said it best, he went on a one month vacation in the summer. He was the 18th-20th top player when he left with around 2 100 wins. When he got back he was 1 000 wins off of top 25.
