This way there's a more centralized location for Dan and friends to read bug reports, if they are posted on the forum, rather than fifty thousand topics created for each little minor bug.

don't forget the feedback button in game
but if you're idk just post here yay

cloud formation must change!!!
edit: when running 1000 planets, do NOT place a sun to the side
-
you get rock when you explode the sun. it's alreaedy exploding so idk how that works kol
-
When you try to change orbital mechanics of a planet, you can't truly lock its inclination or eccentricity.

When in fullscreen, I can't use my native resolution, I can only choose from 16:10 resolutions while all my screens are 16:9.
And running in windowed mode means a huge loss of performance for my computer.
-
What do you mean by native resolution and 16:10?
About lost performance-maybe you have too much space taken up or don't have enough RAM or don't have all the system requirements

Well, by 16:10, i mean resolutions like 1680 x 1050 or 1600 x 1024 whereas my screens all are at 1920 x 1080.
About performance and not meeting the system requirements...
Here are my specs :
Motherboard : ASUS Sabertooth x79
CPU : Intel Core i7-3820 @ 3.60GHz
GPU : 2-way SLI Nvidia GTX660Ti
RAM : 16 Go DDR3
OS SSD : 128Go
DATA HDD : 1To @7200rpm
well, I can play pretty much everything maxed out, except if it is windowed (windows seems to have trouble allowing the main window it's needed ressources).
And just for the fact, I usually have at least 3 screens on at all times, that's why I insist on them all having the same resolution :p.
Thanks for your advice anyways ^^

3 screens... so 3 different universes?? or panorama
-
3 separate screens, I usually use the main one for games, and the two other to use .. well... other applications such as skype or google chrome.
What I am trying to say is that I do not play in this kind of setup http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/07/three-screen.jpg
But with each screen having something different, which slow down any non-fullscreen application.
I hope I could explain clearly enough :s
-
yeah i understand. but still that CPU would be able to handle it.
GPU, i use intergrated and i still can do it so it's fine
-
Maybe I should be clearer, sorry for not explaining well enough ^^
In fact, the game runs quite fine, at least at 60fps, but it slows down quite fast when I add a few objects to the simulations or simply collide two of them.
But when I force myself to bear with the distorded and fuzzy 1680x1050 fullscreen, it only slows down when I crash dozens of objects at the same time, which is why I would appreciate it if I could play at 1920x1080 in fullscreen ^^
-
hmm, could you provide video?
did you try the performance test? if it doesn't lag there but lags when you add stuff... idk
-
I am not complaining about the performance loss while in windowed mode, it happens with any other game.
What I think is a bug is the fact that my native screen resolution can't be selected while in fullscreen.
-
hmm, i think i tried and it did not work. might be because it's in the alpha. i'll try switching again later
-
There is something wrong with procyon and binary orbits.
I added procyon and made him smaller, then I added another star with binary mechanics, so close that they collide. Suddenly the star "destroyed" procyon, BUT it was still there with a radius of -36658 km and it was still shining. ???
-
A negative diameter?
WTH!?

{Topic resurrected so that people can find somewhere to post bugs}

All Alpha testers already know somewhere to post bugs. You don't have to post bugs on the forums. Just post feedback through the game itself.
-
i wonder...
who has filed the most bug reports? what's the total count?
