the trial time is one hour because that is enough to try most/all features of the game and to get you to buy the game

the price is already very low for a game. for example, civ5 and bf3 both cost around $40. you can get univerrse sandbox for like $5 when its on sale every now and then. so no, it shouldn't be lowered.

I never heard of the software until I saw it on the Steam holiday sale last month. I purchased it for something like $2.50. Probably the best purchase I have ever made, software-wise.
