Category 8? There are only 5 categories of a hurricane.
Also you spell suffer with an e, not an a.

JMA doesn't have super typhoon and it doesn't look super organized anyway (because it's not)

maybe it was a HKO warning level? That would be equivalent of a Tropical Storm/Hurricane Watch/Warning and not a strength.
