Beautiful Pictures : Supernovas

This supernova was colored by Multiwavelength X-ray, infrared, and optical compilation image of Kepler's Supernova Remnant, SN 1604. (Chandra X-ray Observatory)


Composite X-ray and infrared image of the SN 1572 remnant as seen by Chandra X-Ray Observatory, Spitzer Space Telescope, and Calar Alto Observatory


The most famous and best-observed young SNR was formed by SN 1987A, a supernova in the Large Magellanic Cloud that was discovered in 1987

The last one looks awesome, with the red, violet and blue colors, and the lines. :)
The first one is also very beautiful. :)

The last one sort of looks like lightning, suggesting there was a LOT of energy.

All are nice spheres then BOOOOOOM comes the last one. The last one looks ripped apart.

The purple, red are together forming the letter "L", while the faint purple is like 1/4 a circle.

I wonder why that is. ??? Scientists need to study supernovas way more. :-\
