[MG/RP] NationStates Map Game [G1R2]

The rules will be made up fully as go.
* Colonizing: Draw a boundry around the area you wish to colonize (in a two pixel thick color of yellow), and it will be colonized next round. Don't overdo it, or your turn will be invalid and a redo will be in place. For colonies across an ocean/far away, you must wait two turns. Also, someone can colonize your claimed place, if it is close to them, and they have a presence on that continent/island, or a nearby island.
*Territories: Congradulations, no one stole your colonies. You can now claim that as part of your nation, or turn it into a dependency/seperate nation. If you chose one of the latter two, it has to be a different color then your primary nation.
*War: War is another way to gain territory. The winner is decided via how far away the war is from both nations, and how big of a military each nation has. The winner gets the territory fought over. As we go into the game, I'll give more in-depth information, such as blockades, rivers, forts, nukes, orbital bombardments, etc.
*Roleplaying: You send a ship and trade with another nation, whatever things... It's free to do, just make sure it has nothing to do with War, Territory, or Colonization.
*Tech: We're all in the 1920's. Once you make an advancment, the whole world gets it.
*Rounds: A round is completed when every participant in the game completes his/her turn for the round. You can opt out of your turn, and allow the game to continue to the next round.
*Turns: You go to the last map in the thread, and use it. Make sure to say taken, so someone else does not do their turn at the same time as you do. When you say taken, I expect the map within 30 minutes. If 30 minutes passes, someone else can take their turn, possibly changing the tides, if you are at war.

Just simply plop (Oh god I love that word) your nation down. I recommend saying "taken" so someone else doesn't create a nation meantime.

Once we get a suitable number, I'll explain how we play.

I used a two pixel thick paintbrush and turned off anti-aliasing.

Cities that are comparable to New York, London, Paris and Tokyo. In rare cases, one nation may have two or more T1WC's.

Tier Two World Class Cities (T2WC):


Cities that are comparable to Boston, Chicago, Sydney, Shanghai, etc. Usually a strong nation has several.
