Yes i can operate 1050 Poise class light aircraft carriers.

maybe because i have a $670 billion budget. (now considerably larger), but i'll do the math with my $670 billion budget.

This assumes i completely rebuild a new fleet every 20 years, so the cost of the carrier can be divided by 20 since the budget is only one year. (The nimitz was built to operate for 50 years, so this is expensive by comparison.

A supercarrier like the nimitz costs approx $4.5 billion.
A ship like this, which is about 1/8 the size (1/2 in all dimensions).
would cost approximately $1.2 billion i guess. Not proportional to size because of electronics/other stuff.
so this 1.2 billion spread out over 20 years is $60 million per year

the nimitz costs $130 million a year to maintain. I put $100 million as a resonable guess for this ship.

So in total, $160 million.

160 million *1050 =168 billion per year, which is only around 1/4th of my naval budget back then.

very resonable.

i have 7000+ frigs..

the newest current usn navy frigates are being sold for about $40 million, less 1% the price of our carriers
the maintenence cost is about 7 million/year , 20 times less.

so yes it's possible and even cost less than all my 1050 light carriers put together
