New Galaxy Collision Video FULL HD 10X Particle Count
« on: July 01, 2011, 03:19:12 PM »
Made another FULL HD Galaxy Collision video.
I know there are a bunch on Youtube already but I did it a bit different this time with 10X particle count and slowed down the speed to 10000years/sec. so the stars would not shoot out all over the place initially.

This animation took 6 hours to run and record at low speed (10000 years / sec)
Video was then sped up 15x with video editing software to reduce its run time and create a smooth galaxy collision.

Particle Settings at 10X (normal is 1.0X)
Original Recorded at 1920x1200 @ 6fps ~ 6 hours
Final Edited Output at 1920x1080 @ 30fps ~ 2mins

Enjoy.

190 million years ago, Antarctica did not exist. It was part of a super continent called Gondwana, this included most of the southern hemisphere... *music change right on cue with galaxy collision*

lol cool video
