Many of the files (textures and models) found here can be used with Universe Sandbox:

The Media folder inside the Universe Sandbox main folder.

How do you load the 3d objects?

Select the object, switch to the 2nd properties tab, and type in the name of the file (that's in the Media folder) into the model text box.

Does that help?

No. I downloaded those objects from http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/
They're all 3ds, or ssc. I have no knowledge about this stuff. Does it need to be a different file or something?

Sorry. The option to use 3ds files isn't currently working. I'm working on an update to fix this problem (and that will also add support for obj files).

Can you link to the location of a couple 3ds files that you'd like to use so I can make sure they will work in the next update?
