I did the demo on the website and then I got it on Steam.... I'm an avid steam user though and think that its the best digital download service available. If you like playing on the computer a lot and don't use steam yet you need to get into it immediately. Hope this helps you make up your mind

I'm quite fond of Steam too. I way don't have 175 games in my list like some other people, but the list is growing slowly ^^

steam for me too.

steam is awesome. since joining steam I've not bought one single hard copy game.
the only thing wrong with it for me is the cheap deals, too many games not enough time to play them all.

you end up with tons more games than you would buy normally because it's so easy to just click buy on a midweek madness deal for 10 bucks

a couple of months ago there was a square enix sale week..... I bought 6 games that week

there's still a couple of them i haven't even played yet. (but couldn't pass up, they were practically giving them away)

Saw it on steam. Debated buying it (wanted demo). Decided to "View Website" from steam which led me here which showed me a free download. Played that till it expired and bought it on STEAM , because I agree steam is the best.

I don't like to buy stuff I don't know is good, even if it's only $10 (I came from ps3, which is tons of $60 pieces of crap!)

Steam. Sadly, I've played around with everything and other than finish the universe I'm creating, there isn't really much of anything for me to do. Especially since I run simulations and then make something the size of the universe and the whole thing is just one huge blue star

You can simply look for the dates registered. I don't have the patience to do taht though... Someone else can try.

The reason a lot more votes are for Steam is because people from the website time are mostly gone now.
