The game crashed on Thursday 1, 1740. I hope it didn't corrupt the save file.

I was colonizing Africa and crap after releasing Shawnee as my vassal after realizing I couldn't really be a strong nation while maintaining land on 3 continents.

Getting a lot of territories cost more on production and other things I think.

I took over Ireland and I now hold the eastern cost of Britain except for Cornwall.

Occupy every province and annex them. Note the total cost of the provinces can be higher than 100% warscore, so you'll have to take some provinces. In the latest beta patch, you cannot annex countries that have more than 7 provinces, so that'll be in the next official update of 5.1

Watch your infamy limit; going above it makes every country declare war on you.

The game gets more impractical the more you talk about it.

I know to watch my infamy limit... and I know how to annex them. What did you do with your infamy to be able to conquer all that as one country? I don't get this game at all. I suck at it, if I get a weak country I get destroyed or bored. If I get a good country I get a bad reputation... Is the reputation correlated to infamy?

The 7 province thing sounds stupid, and before 5.1 comes out... Does it overwrite your country files and everything? If so I'll need to make a backup...

Well, I got a good infamy guy, so the infamy depleted a lot. I do usually go over the limit, but I don't really care, since I usually get white peace/take provinces/annex on them since I'm the strongest nation. To be honest, Flanders was a weak country I started with, but after I took over some land, Europe's view to me pretty much changed. And yes, your reputation is based on infamy.

It probably does overwrite, but I haven't seen any problems with the beta patches. Just to be safe, make a backup.
