And yes, I think Spain was at war with them originally, then I clicked the join coalition on diplomacy window of Commonwealth and declared war afterwards. Not like coalition as in getting called in when an ally goes to war where I know the ally decides the peace terms because it's war leader. I guess the coalition bug explains it. Sad but thanks.

I guess I'll just reload back to 1743 and fight the war again without being in coalition. :l

Edit: Reloaded and went to war without going into a coalition. Occupied most of Commonwealth and sued it for some provinces kol. Kursk nicely defected to me again before the peace.

I've started playing EU4 again which is crazy
first game back is as Ottomans and I want to conquer all the way to Paris

Damn alliances in the way though....

Some clever diplomacy later and I was able to deal with the Austrians and Venetians, so I think the path to France is about as clear as it will get. Time to dismantle the HRE!

(Hungary is a vassal I am using to feed Austrian provinces to, so I don't have to take penalties for taking them)

Spooky and scary Commonwealth and Spain on the sides of the path there, but not in the way!

a game of pizzafication^2 me and dar simulated while being cyprus (for the most part) and sometimes randomly annexing countries as things like Khorasan, Japan, or Aztec. There was a really epic Ulm that we had nothing to do with that formed and fought a huge (also legit) Aachen, which Styria vassalized (which was no entirely legit) and became the HRE shortly before the game ended.

My general has a 6 kill to death ratio

Maxed quality and offensive ftw in the early game. Also notice how 70% of the forces he has faced have died

That general is rumored to have attacked a stack of 40 Austrian units in Hungary with 26 units himself. He killed 20,000 of them while losing less than 5,000 himself (also rumoured that I am a cocky idiot who made that situation possible in the first place and probably got incredibly lucky)
