Here's a topic where this happened for someone running Universe Sandbox v1:
http://universesandbox.com/forum/index.php/topic,310.0.html

1
Everytime?

2
Has it ever worked?

3
What is the blue screen error that you get?

4
What OS are you running? (XP, Vista, 7)

5
What video card do you use?

When's the last time your upgraded your video drivers?

That would be worth trying.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

This forum post suggests running dxdiag:
http://forums.techguy.org/windows-xp/912380-stop-0x0000050-0x0000008e-bsod.html

Click on Start and type 'dxdiag', then run it.

Let me know what happens.

Edit: I had typed dxidiag, not dxdiag. Fixed.

well, sort of (not universe sandbox 2, 1 works fine), maybe this link will help.... Read entire thing please. http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/145591-many-different-errors-bsod.html
and note, I am usually the computer fix-it guy (I can usually solve bsods) so these problems are making me pissed.

My Dad suggested doing this:

"He needs to run a RAM memory test.
http://www.ehow.com/how_7157876_howto-memory-test-windows-vista.html
(also works for Windows 7)

If he doesn't find any memory errors, then he should do a clean startup, see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796

If this doesn't help, the last thing to try is to do a clean install of Windows."

Let me know what happens with the memory test.

You could buy a new hard drive for around $35 and then install Windows on it.

http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=14&name=Internal-Hard-Drives&Order=PRICE

This would let you see if it's a software issue or not and preserve your current installation of Windows and all your settings.

I'm sorry I'm unable to be of more help.
