I see Spigot 1.9 is actually ready to be applied. I've struggled with getting a Spigot jar file for the server since it has apparently become a billion times more complicated to use than the last version, and I won't get it ready today, but soon I hope.

Ok Dynmap broke and there are some errors in the console but I think most stuff survived and I could log in and LWC is still a thing so hey
I need to sleep now so I'll have to take a look at the errors later (or Yqt/Komrage if they so desire)

Mojang hit Spigot with a legal notice saying that they can't give out minecraft servers jars. They now get people to download the files and then compile the server jars on their own computer using maven

Bunch of the plugins are having problems, I am making a post about it on the blacraft admin forums

A warning, it's possible we'll roll back to 1.8, so there's a small possibility you'll lose progress. What do people think is most important, having 1.8 and wait for a working release of Dynmap and Multiverse for 1.9 or staying in 1.9 and put the plugins up when they release an update?

If we roll back, I will strive to compensate for any losses there are, but if a lot of effort is spent the probability increases we'll have to just accept the losses or just decide to stick to 1.9.

There was a time back when we played it just fine without Dynmap, so it should still be possible.

Also I'm pretty sure there won't be any rollback now. It's probably better to add Dynmap and Multiverse back when they're updated. I imagine Dynmap won't take too long, since it is so popular.

The Dynmap developer wrote he'll work on an update this weekend and there might be a release tomorrow. There's already a snapshot but I'm not going to add it because it's probably not stable.

And I've decided not to go back to 1.8 so don't worry about losses.
