there's this bug where chicken jockeys spawn, the zombie despawns, and the chicken runs around laying eggs. zombies pick up the egg and don't despawn, which means mob count only ever goes up. 1.8 makes chicken jockeys not drop eggs

They fixed this bug in the snapshots before 1.7 was even released...if not, they fixed it in a version before bukkit for 1.7 came out. Even if it was a problem when we were playing on 1.7, it's fixed now and the problem isn't as big as you're claiming, as it's no longer happening and it's just the remnants from back then.

they made the chicken despawn along with the zombie, but the chicken still lays eggs until 1.8 comes out.

ok so tell me where i went wrong
because i came up with 24 diamonds in 208 seconds.

Tool: Eff 3 Diamond Pickaxe.
regular diamond mines stone in 0.3 seconds
eff 3 mines it in 0.14 seconds (220% faster)

Fortune 3 Diamond Pickaxe.
-fortune 3 is 120% increase so
-24/2.2 = 11
so we only need 11 diamond ore

Ground is 9, legs 10, head 11, top 12
total is about 1222000 diamond ore block
9 10 11 and 12 are like 110000 approximately
which is about 1%
That is per chunk
for the top and bottom, we only see 1 block so that's
1/16
10 and 11 we see 3, the one we mine, the right and the left
3/16
add them and its 8/16 OR 1/2
so 1/2% of getting a diamond every chunks

so 11/0.005 = 2200
**this is where i might have messed up**

2200/0.14 is 308 so 308 seconds

The Dynmap plans for the Battleground are now completed (except the fact that one zone is missing from it, I'll need Kip to get the coordinates on there).

I've set it to automatically show the zones if you zoom in 2 times, it can be changed based on preferences, or I can disable it entirely. This just seemed most reasonable to me.
