Lighting is all screwy
« on: July 13, 2018, 04:45:29 PM »
Hello all. I'm a relatively new user to US2, and today I suddenly encountered a glitch I can't seem to get rid of. Light sourcing has gone all weird. I open the simulation, to see our solar system, but none of the light reaching planets etc is coming from the Sun. It's just coming from somewhere else. My computer isn't a beast, and I have been forced to lower performance settings a bit, but would this have a drastic effect? I was making videos for youtube with this, but now can't: cos it looks STOOPID.

I've attached a screenshot illustrating what I mean below. There's Mercury, and the Sun in the background. I know light can travel around corners, but that's a bit OTT!

BTW my lighting settings are on realistic.
I thank anyone in advance for any help they can offer.

You've turned off "glow".
I think it's in the video settings, and turning the whole thing down might have turned it off.
