NO
Although technically Blacraft already has something like that with Borderguard. Just ~520 times larger.

Lol, they added invisibility potions. Unless they make it only available for SSP, I can see MASSIVE griefing potential there.

I don't think it'll make any difference to griefing. If the only defense a server has against griefing is the griefer being caught in the act, it is doomed already if it doesn't have a tightly tied, trustable community.

There are lots of plugins logging player positions, block interactions, bucket uses, fire, TNT, etc. Invisible or not a player can easily be detected.

Well, most servers have one plugin to permit only break blocks placed by you or by the "nature".

the invisibility effect could be broken if the player performs an aggressive action, other games do this to promote invisibility as a stealth ability rather than an offensive one.

This, seems like a much better idea imo, at least for PvP. Getting tickled with sharp objects by invisible entities is not fun. Having no way to defend yourself from other people isn't fun.

From what I read (using a google search), the particle effects will still be there as would be the sound, plus the armor and presumabily, your weapon, won't be invisible either.

So, it's not as much of a griefing enabler as I thought.

Cool. The potatoes will be ours.
As for gold for night vision potions... I think we should be careful with not making too many. Gold is somewhat rare and we need it for rails as well.

Kolyes ofc it is.

Idk any method to farm zombie pigmen, but if water is possible in the nether, I guess it's ok. But we should set up one before spending all our gold on potions in that case.
Running around and tickling them with swords doesn't give a lot of gold imo. Mining seems faster.

Potatoes can be farmed and also, I won't spam night vision potions. Also, it'd be great if you could chang the "potato" to "hell potato".:D

It's 1.3.2.

Btw this list looks really interesting
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Upcoming_features

A new boss mob... But I hope they've started on Plugins. Otherwise they can just keep going "oh well we've made so many other features now so let's just release them in a seperate update and release plugins in the next update" like they've done twice already. Not that I don't like the upcoming features.

The new boss mob can only be accessed through edited monster spawners, mods, or hacks.

The thing sounds incredibly formidable.
