Good idea, actually. I think I'll try finding some flint.

I think clay has become more common, it might be generated in new places, but I'm not sure.

I finally found an Enderman. I lost it, but found it again. SPOILER. They sound like zombies when you hit them, and when you hit them, it seems like they tp to some place nearby which you can't see. After 3 hits with an iron sword, they die, and drop nothing. Maybe xp orbs, but I'm not sure if it did.

Edit: Yes, there's certainly some changes in clay generation!

Also, I'll try finding towns in creative mode now. It's much easier when you can fly around quickly above the ground.

Those abandoned mines are big... And I found a cave spider spawner.

Minecrash crashes every 30 seconds or something. It runs "out of memory". Very annoying. I tried making Java use more memory another day, but apparently it hasn't worked.

2048 or 4096 should work (if you have at least 2 or 4 GB of RAM).
Edit: Nvm, it still runs "out" of RAM, but it might work for you.
Also, Endermen drop Ender Pearls.

And fix'd memory problems by downloading Java for 64-bit and then increasing the memory limit.

Also the 1.8 pre-release version was good, but I do feel slightly bad about it.

Endermen do not move player-made blocks. At least from what I heard.
