So, Should US2 be sold for free for five-six minutes on christmas?

I put together a pros and cons list of this event if it were to take place

Pros- Kids who dont get any money at all could play with this awesome program
   Not alot of people will see this so... Dan wont loose THAAAT much money (Like 90 bucks at the most)
   Universe sandbox 2 could become more popular
   Dan can become more popular

Making people happy on christmas is what its all about

   Only like, 3 people might do this at the right time so, thats like 90 bucks gone... not much if you get 30 an hour-
   -From people dling ur program

Cons- dan would loose Aprox. 90 bucks...
   I couldent really think of anymore cons.

So Vote and Dan can see what the genral group on his website thinks of this idea.

Sounds like a good idea, but I think Dan would loose more money than ninety bucks. Think about it, you would tell your friends they would tell their friends and so on and before you know it you got everyone downloading it for free. I don't think this idea will work. This ain't freeware Dan's got to make a living some how.

Dan doesnt want to loose money, so why would he post it everywhere? He's not dumb, infact, he might even stop almost everyone (Exept a little few) from hearing about it.

There could be an on sale special, or an extended Time trial on Christmas. For example, a week free trial or something.

Or drop the price for that day to $15 or something.

Maybe he could give out a 3 week free demo on christmas, you know, because some people cant explore every last little thing in 60 minutes. you know, that would be a way better idea

No... All those other companies are dumb(Talking about you EA!), and hate christmas, Dan is much better, He could do this.

Not making a special discount on Christmas doesn't automatically mean you hate Christmas.
To me, it seems self-contradictive to want to make a discount event on Christmas where you give the program out for free, but you try to limit it so that not too many will find out.
Making a discount could be a fine idea, decreasing the price at Christmas. But I'm 100% sure that whatever Dan decides to do, he's not trying to make Universe Sandbox into a huge company made only to leech money out of his customers. Not making a special big discount at Christmas could maybe leave room for a smaller general decrease in the price for the rest of the time. I don't know. But Dan still needs some money to be able to develop Universe Sandbox.
