Don't even dare try to load it without VirtualBox.
That could make your OS be Ubuntu.

Actually, Wubi is an installer, which gives you Ubuntu as a side-OS, and every time you reboot, it asks you to choose if you want to use the Windows OS or Ubuntu.

How do you download and install the program? When I type svn co svn://blah blah blah... it instead gives me a list of the files.

It should then ask your password. Input that. Then it should give oyu a list of files, then ask [y/n]
Which you should answer y to.
