Custom backgrounds
« on: December 08, 2017, 06:39:56 PM »
Is there a way to add custom backgrounds to the simulation? I mean, the backgrounds are all awesome but I want to import my own background file, like a nebula (No, not the ones that are already in the game, it looks kinda awful tbh). If this feature isn't in the game yet, are you guys implementing on this? Thanks

Might be nice in addition to using custom planet maps.
Though, if I'm not mistaken, shouldn't this go in the normal US2 forum instead of the bugs one...?

Yes, you can import your own custom background into a simulation.

We don't support importing custom backgrounds yet. (You can adjust colors and other settings of existing backgrounds by clicking on a background's pencil icon in View > Background.)

It's not high on our priority list, but we'd like to support this in the future.

Yes can already make custom backgrounds by modifying existing backgrounds by changing the colors.
