An issue I got with terminator lines
« on: November 25, 2017, 06:44:05 PM »
So, if you put two stars far away from another (As in, not closely together like in a circumbinary system), and you put a planet (Gas giant for more visible effect) on one of the stars, the terminator line would look weird, zig-zag, it just looks ugly. Here, let me show you :

This seems to only happen to me. Here's a post by SyzygyΣE, which shows a normal terminator

Thanks for your patience. I see this as well. I know that our lighting system isn't well suited for multiple lighting sources at this time, and this is something we hope to improve in the future.

If it's bothering you in a specific simulation, you can turn off Shadows (this removed the issue for me) in Home > Settings > Graphics.
