The animated movie Big Hero 6 is based on a comic. In that comic, there was a character called Sunfire who was basically a superhuman. Sunfire had a habit of faking his own death.
In the movie, Tadashi, Hiro's older brother, supposedly dies in a massive explosion resulting from a fire in a science building that, at the time, had quite a few experimental items and chemicals in it.
There is no "Tadashi" character in the comic. However, there is that elusive "Sunfire"...
