The Grand Kingdom of Tsev is a small, mountain kingdom situated in northern Indochina. Lead by the notorious Hmong peoples, they've managed to create their own nation after centuries of living under the wings of many other countries. Often on the verge of defeat, it's surprising they made it this far; its leader has even dared to have ambitions to unite its brethren with those in Southern China, where millions more still live.

The Kingdom of Geusak is a Hindu state which doesn't really care and is more closely aligned with the Indians than with the struggle between the Europeans and the Chinese throughout the region, although they did take advantage of the failed Breton colonies to grab some more land. They find themselves slightly aligned towards the Chinese, due to all the colonies in India.

The Empire of Běilù is a, surprisingly, ethnic Chinese state north from China proper. Having succeeded centuries ago from Beijing as a small strip of colonial land after attempts of a Chinese expansion into Siberia*, they've managed to grown significantly. Those in the south had forgotten about this land until the Shui Dynasty came into contact with them; hostilities blossomed from there. While having a tiny naval force compared to the Shui, their land army is on par with those in China proper. Their alliance with Nippon and friendly relations with the Manchus have proved them to be a force to be reckoned with; perhaps a strike into the Chinese heartland wouldn't be so bad while the Shui are off in the distant seas...

The Shui expand to match their power better.

Fukuoku Clan is a small clan, yet the most influential of Kyushu's clans. They are influenced by the Koreans and have adopted some pieces of Korean culture. They have contested Japan's claim to all of the islands and have been in contest with Japan, through Korea, for many years.

The Empire of Manjorien is a relatively powerful country situated in between the Shui and Běilù, although not as powerful as the Chinese states. Somehow managing to continue its existence, despite centuries of border conflicts with the Chinese, they've managed to establish cordial relationships with Běilù. The Shui however remain cold towards them, and only trade relationships exist between the two. This has led Manjorien and Běilù to establish further relationships promising to help one another; although competing claims and historical differences have ruled out an alliance for now.

Burgundian India is Burgundy's attempt to get some of whatever the hell the Indians have. I don't really know, actually - and probably neither do most of the Burgundians. But if there's one thing that everyone can agree on, it's that more land is generally a good thing. Oh, and land has some people if you need extra labor or manpower for your wars. Either way, it's the white man's burden to modernise India, and Burgundy has decided to take up that duty in all of their grace.

The Kingdom of Bhutan requires a passport to enter. Not much is known about it by other nations, and nobody really cares enough to venture inwards. Nevertheless, it is sandwiched in between British India and some other country to the north that probably nobody cares about either.

The Kingdom of Ayutthaya is a middle power situated within Indochina, but was shattered when most of their land was taken away in a great war against the other Indochinese nations. Picking up the pieces, they seek vengeance and has even called out foreign diplomats to negotiate treaties.
