Texture problem
« on: May 16, 2010, 05:53:34 PM »
Do the Media textures copy into the other Universe Sandbox folders? I updated a file, and kept the name, but when I reloaded the system it was the old file.

If I put it in \Documents\Universe Sandbox\Media, does it go anywhere else?

Make sure you update the file in C:\Program Files\Universe Sandbox\Media\???.png

I don't think so. Universe Sandbox doesn't move files around.

What file name are you using?

It was "yellowplanet.png" It worked the first time, but when I tried to update, it wouldn't.

Is this still a problem? Did you lose your new file?

No, but it's annoying to rename it each time you change it.

What do you mean? What do you have to rename?

I'm unclear what the problem is and exactly what you're doing.

Oh... It should work if you restart Universe Sandbox.

It currently doesn't have any way to detect that the source texture file has changed.

Does that solve your problem?

I mean close Universe Sandbox and restart the program. Sorry for the inconvenience.
