Any way to prevent saved objects from loading in realistic mode?

Title says it all.  I'm having a problem with blue giants instantly going supernova in realistic mod, and I'd like to be able to load my saves that have it turned off.

Oh, hm...that's weird, I thought surely that'd work...are you sure it wasn't saved as a remnant?

Have you tried pausing the game, setting off realistic mode, set its age to 0, and then switch it back on?

This may now be fixed. There was a bug in Alpha 16 regarding this issue. Is it fixed in Alpha 16.1?

Just tried it out with Sirius B and 5 sun masses and in my case, it saved the realistic off setting
