electromagnetic radiation wavelengths

just a thought.  is it possible to change the views of stars to show their light at different wavelengths, as well as objects that reflect the light? Visible, infrared, x-ray, etc...

This is a very common suggestion. I say that yes... I'd like to see such a feature

That would look great when viewing the milky way or supernovae.  The renderer will probably kill itself on a galactic-level time step though with this, low-end laptops with around 1.5Ghz speed cannot simulate a galaxy, even at lowest accuracy, the timestep wont let itself go high enough (tested this on my crappy student laptop)
