New Name, New Directon

Universe Sidescroller... an arcade-style, side-scrolling, 2D platformer, action-adventure game.

We'll be releasing a new alpha build in the next few weeks for everyone to check out.

whatever happened to this

After lots of soul searching and difficultes in production, the team at Giant Army has decided to permanently halt production of Universe Sandbox 3, and begin development of an isometric, pixel art, point-and-click adventure game based on the novel 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Attached is the first screenshot of our new game.

I love the new direction this has taken. Forward and backward are pretty dumb directions, so I was delighted to see this game going into two dimensions. Up, Down, Left, and Right are all pretty rad directions.
