I find it helpful to use a different color for coloring in your turns so that you can see what you've changed
then just re color it once you've verified your turn

This is the Director speaking. Many of you have recently begun to question our strategy, specifically with some claiming that we are not as efficient as the Machine Republic once was. While the Machine Republic may have been efficient, they did not stock up resources. That is why they lost the Sapient Revolution. Surely you do not want the Machine republic to return, do you?

Additional controversy has been sparked over my signing of the Declaration of The Restraints on Machine Intelligence. While it is true that we once considered machines our equals, we now know better than that after Sapients toiled day after day under the metal fist of the Machine Republic.

I will release our government spending plans to qualm potential fears.

Fiah, that doesn't actually make much sense. Waiting hours to decide on how you should take your turn does not mean that you're doing it any more optimally unless you openly consider going to war with someone, and even then, it should take about five minutes in the spreadsheet calculating how many resources it would be and another five minutes looking at the map deciding the best zones to take from the other person, especially with the high penalty for attempting to take zones that are more than one away from your current nation which greatly limits your available strategy. Unless, of course, you're thinking about long-term strategy, which is easily done at any time whether or not you are the current one who the game is waiting on.

The Republic of Floennei has decided that it shall declare war upon the Green and Orange nations.

The Republic hopes that both the Yellow and Pink nations join the Republic in the war against the Green and Orange nations. However, should either or nation decline, the Republic will not hold it against them, for such a strategic move would be valid and honorable.

The Director is confident that the war can be won, however critics of the declaration claim that it will only serve to be the Republic's downfall, citing the possibility of being attacked by three or potentially even four nations. Nevertheless, Fiah hopes to end the game (or at least his country's part in it) soon because if it drags into his Junior year of school, his grades may suffer.
