Making new worlds
« on: May 07, 2010, 06:32:01 PM »
OK web sight says i can make new worlds from spinning debris

How would i go about doing this?
just add a crap load of asteroids?
or rings around star?

because all the debris i add never seems to form up to anything

Thanks for your time

cheers

Do you have the collision mode set to Bounce? That might be the cause.

Add new objects around the object.
It should work (plus with Collision mode on).

Thanks for sharing your question Aaron.

This kind of feedback is really helpful to know where things don't make sense. You're absolutely right that it's not very clear.

Over the next few weeks I'll be adding new mini-tutorials that explain the variety of features and controls (like Combine vs Bounce and how to add new bodies to a simulation).
