Grid problem
« on: May 02, 2010, 02:50:43 PM »
When I create a new body, it doesn't make that grid thing with circles (not the one in edit mode) that there used to be in the betas, I would like my objects locked to a disk. Is there anyway to turn it on when I need it, off when I don't?

I do have one object with more mass than the others.

Edit: Hmmm... It's working now...  ???

Edit: One question! Now I need to get them off of the grid area... Ummm I don't want them locked to that grid, but yet I want them locked to A grid, but not the one grid I have now... How is this possible, without editing files? Is there a way to copy my current galaxy? (It has stars, it's not a "dust" galaxy)

You can always edit the coordinates of bodies in the third tab, just edit the Z coordinates.
I don't know about the grid though. I think it's very hard to move bodies on the Z-axis without changing the coordinates.

I find it only easy to move the x axis... y and z are hard...
