[BUG] Graphical Coruption
« on: September 25, 2014, 04:28:21 AM »
Ran some sims involving bombarding an ice-age-esque Earth while being orbited by Ganymede. I accidentally clicked "Big window" instead of "Minimize" on the Steam Chat, and then these weird glitchy bars with black-and-white footage of what I was doing in US2 kept flashing, not just in the Steam Chat window, but my whole screen. Even the Dock and Top Menu Bar were affected.

Scaring the malware out of me:

That appears to be corruption of the frame buffer. I don't normally see anything like that unless there's a driver malfunction or your GPU has some memory issues.

It's really hard to say what happened without any kind of logs or crash dumps though. I know you're often concerned about personal information, so feel to remove anything from the logs that you feel is identifiable in any way before posting them. But, I really can't do much about your reported bugs without more information.

Was looking for them the way you described, but I couldn't find a folder named "Universe Sandbox_Data", just the game shortcut and a folder called "Logs" that just has several repeated "graphlog" files that cannot be opened

The logs are only in that folder if you're using Windows OS. On a Mac they're located in your current user account's library.

~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
