If I wanted them to be Atheist then I wouldn't have made a poll.

And that wouldn't make for an interesting religion, now would it =P?

Anyway, all species would have some sort of supernatrual-based faith in the Paleoithic stage, which would probably evolve into something interesting later in the species history.

EDIT: We're at the point where one vote can change everything. The next voter will be the weiner winner guy who changes everything thing.

Religions can be atheist. Buddhism doesn't claim a god exists.

Buddhism may not have a god, but it does believe in some sort of divine/supernatrual spirit energy and nirvanna, while Atheism does not believe in anything outside of our percievable realm. This is what I thought of when making the poll. I will add an option called "Spiritual Atheist" for this description.

But I would assume that, for an entire moon, that a species would start some sort of theistic religion.

Look at our past. The Egyptians looked at the sky and made gods out of all it's parts. If a species was in orbit around a big blue morphing orb that could block out the sun and change position, some sort of theism is almost certain to emerge in their society.

Belief in god(s) is the defining characteristic that divides theists from atheists, so Buddhism is still an atheistic religion.

while Atheism does not believe in anything outside of our percievable realm.
Atheists don't believe in gods, but if they believe in something outside our perceiveable realm that's not a god, they're still atheists.
Anyway that's not really relevant to whether Buddhism is an atheistic religion or not.

This is what I thought of when making the poll. I will add an option called "Spiritual Atheist" for this description.
Ok, I don't see why though, unless it's significantly more spiritual than the others

But I would assume that, for an entire moon, that a species would start some sort of theistic religion.
If this was a reply/argument to what I said, it's not relevant to whether Buddhism is atheistic or not

Same as before

I say polytheistic seems most interesting, but sadly, the numbers don't lie. Spiritual Atheist will probably win.

Maybe I should have narrowed down the choices.

The ties have been broken; the winner is Short Meditation. Now we will be discussing burial rituals.

And why is no one posting? Surely there must be some comments/suggestions you would like to share...

i chose water floated because i like the scandinavian burial method.
the person is carried through a ship. and then shot by a fiery arrow. and then sent to valhalla ( mystic)

"Given to an animal to eat"
I liked this because it's original, and the body returns to the earth. It's like this.
