[INFO] Performance Test nearly kills computer
« on: August 24, 2014, 03:27:33 AM »
So I was messing around with the supercell effects I mentioned before, when I noticed the option "Run Performance Test". I had no idea what that did, so of course, curiosity kills the cat. Or compooter. No one cares.

Except me. I clicked it, and the UI disappeared. After a few seconds, US2 slowly and scarily faded to black, and I was left with a computer that didn't display a cursor while being frozen at the same time. That's the worst combo ever.

Unfortunately, I can't attach a log, since I had to restart my computer to fix everything. Note that the shutting down of my computer also took about a whole minute because of the bug.

EDIT: I found the log, but I refuse to attach it (at least publicly) since for some reason the log file has to include my real name.

Uh, dude. Don't you know the Performance Test? We all should do it. We just let it play and in the end the results will be sent to the development team so they can improve the game. The UI is supposed to disappear, by the way

Your PC must be awful if it can't play even a short part of the test.

no when it goes black, you wait a while and then it begins to run simulations

Without a log, I can't really do much to assist you. If you want to redact the parts of your log that you don't want to share, you can edit it with a text editor and post the rest up.
