My PC could handle up to 400 bodies in the first Universe Sandbox with a reasonable frame rate (like 25fps). I could have up to 10,000 particles (for example, planet rings @ 20fps). With the improvements made in US2, that should be increased.

It varies, though. But I am looking forward to testing out the terraforming, supernovas, and how much bodies it can take before crashing. Oh, and collisions with various objects.

Yeah, because in US2, planets are no longer spheres with a picture. They now have atmospheres and water mapping. And with the new alpha 7 build, bump mapping with craters and such. Definitely more graphically taxing than the first game.

The new game is third game.

And 2009 version is first game made. Universe Sandbox is a second game, and Universe Sandbox Â² is a third game.

P.S. and yes, Universe Sandbox Â² is more graphically than other old games.

Yes I know there have been two previous games. I say first game and second game like that because most people forget that there was a Universe Sandbox 2009 version. Dan used this reason to scrap the name Universe Sandbox 3 that it had been named until the first Alpha. I know my history, boy

This game to me is all about data and education

Might be a good idea, but some are more interested in disasters bumps and so on, but nothing that an exploration well not do badly: D

I completely agree. Ever since I have been more active on the forums, all I have been posting is bug reports and to emphasize to test and report back, not to play around and ignore the bugs.

We're not saying you are spamming, we are saying Universe Sandbox Forum isn't a chat room, and a reply with only 1 or 3 words isn't very helpful.
