Crazy Ideas from the New Guy

Yes this is alpha and yes the devs should be concentrating on making the core features actually work, but that doesn't mean we can't open the floodgates on our brains, right?

(my control panel broke ten years ago).

Anyway, here's what I was thinking:

Dyson spheres, rings and shells.
Matrioshka brains.
Giant spaceships (multikilometre)

What'll they do? No idea! Maybe you have one.

The giant spaceships just be a reskinned asteroid but with a few special effects such as:
Pretty coloured, irradiating explosions upon impact.
Introducing life to a planet.
random terraformation.

No I'm not drunk. This may just be reskins but it's a hell of a lot cooler than soccer balls, so there's that, if anything.

Nice (and weird) ideas. They could be fun to mess around with. The Dison Sphere could be constructed by a planet colonized by the giant ship.

It is. as far as we know, impossible for organic life forms to exist in vacuum and function. but it would add to the fun side of it though... 8)

It wouldn't be "organic", just an "entity" floating in space, not a real human brain.
But since this is a sandbox a giant planet-buster laser shooting human brain-like thing could be fun.

It's like a Dyson Sphere, except you use the energy to power an ultra-mega-super-uber-giga-computer.

Well, since you have immense computational power, you could do quite a lot. As in, simulate a universe. Or create extremely detailed virtual realities. Or a multi-billion player MMO match.
