In 2077-2078 the dwarf planet will reach the Sun's apoapsis[1] and may get its orbit shortened. Unfortunately NASA, USSR or ESA aren't planning to send any probes now but maybe the New Horizons probe will fly past Sedna :)

Hmmm... Maybe SpaceX will send a probe or three? Maybe when we send interstellar craft out of the solar system we can get a lot of info about the Red Eccentric.

Sedna is a great planet, this is a fact, they should send probes to find out about the men that live there! Also, Nibiru caused 9/11
