Scientists Discover Ancient Website
« on: April 18, 2014, 01:11:35 PM »
Scientists at a research base in Antarctica have recently uncovered an ancient website. It remains unclear when the website was created, but evidence points to an age about 10,000 years ago.

“The website has photos of popular cave paintings from this age and even has a diary that describes the tribe’s recent local hunting activity in a primitive language. We also found a cookbook describing how to cook various wild animals with the help of a fire.”

While examining the website’s infrastructure, the scientists uncovered an ancient virus.

“When we ran it on some isolated test computers, it appeared that they used up all their processing power. We suspect that the ancient tribes may have used them as a weapon to make their enemy diaries inaccessible, while the more recent tribes may have tamed viruses like these for converting their extra processing power into a source of heat.”

The website was initially banned in Turkey as government officials mistakingly confused photos of a cave painting depicting a dancing hippopotamus for leaked photos of Erdogan, but the ban was lifted again after four hours.

Scientists have recently analyzed various materials including 'concrete', 'glass' and 'bricks'. They have found that the material known as bricks may actually stem from clay that has been heated up; glass too, they find may be thermically treated sand.

"We were very surprised by these results, we will continue to investigate the origin of these materials."

Concrete, they suspect, may be a more sophisticated material derived from water and a substance they've dubbed 'cement'. What this 'cement' is, has yet to be determined.

I've sent a team over there. The results were shocking. Apparently, the ancient tribe made a program called "Minecraft". It is a simulation of lots of 6 sided geometrical shapes arranged in a pattern called a "world." Pantings indicate that this "Minecraft" was stolen by a rival tribe's chief. This bald-headed behemoth came from an illiterate tribe, and the only way to leave his mark was to cut notches in nearby trees. He is therefore known as Notch.

Update: My team has also discovered sheets of paper put together called "books." This is surprising, because people were jealous of the computer. They tried to destroy it with those "books" and failed. If they succeeded, the modern world as we know it would not have existed.

Archaeologists have discovered an ancient item called the cannot. They say it may have pre-dated the more modern can, the well-known type of container known for its ability to hold liquids or other things.

"This may have been the first step towards inventing the first liquid containers in the world; it is quite interesting. We can see, the device is clearly sophisticated, but still lacking the more advanced ability to hold contents, that would take later geniuses to invent."

A photo of the cannot can be seen below.
