Whenever I load or create a galaxy it appears plain white. I have seen videos and screen-shots of galaxies in a more realistic colour. Please help.

Also, colors are disabled if you run it in safe mode.

Changing colour modes only affects the body in the centre of the galaxy

Go to to the main menu, click Feedback, and put in the note that your galaxies are all white and that you are "JoelM935" from the forums. I should be able to figure out what's going on. Also try: In version 1 of Universe Sandbox, press C to change color modes.

Changing colour modes only affects the body in the centre of the galaxy. Colour modes don't work on grids either.

You probably are on Safe Mode. It makes dust turn white.

I don't know. I only did it once in Beta. Then I got out somehow.

I copied my US folder to another PC and galaxy colour was normal on the one hour trial.

I think it might be a limitation of your video card (and the way it's been implemented).
Which is why it worked on another computer.
The problem is on a laptop right?
One thing to try, but unlikely to fix it, would be to update your video drivers.
From the log files: You're not running in safe mode.

You're welcome to use the same license on a 2nd computer that you own.
